A wise person once said..."98% of the solution is understanding the problem."

To that end, a countywide gang prevention assessment is underway. The assessment is done to provide the community and steering committee members with information to better understand the nature and scope of the gang problem so they may leverage and align existing resources to address the communities' needs. In addition the assessment can assist in developing a road map that will outline where to seek new resources and partners.

While a document has been developed and can be reviewed as an attachment to this Blog (see below), I thought it might be a little more fun to view some of the report information as a video. Therefore, below you will find what is hopefully a more engaging way to look at some of the assessment information. I encourage you to take a look at the report as well as it contains additional information not in the video such as a list of items still to be included in the final assessment report.
